The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has approved a project to improve reproductive health care services financed by the Luxembourg government.

According to the provincial People’s Committee, the project, cost nearly 330,000 USD, receives an aid of 280,000 USD and the remaining part comes from the local budget.

It aims to promote the access to reproductive health-related information and services, with special attention focused on juveniles, youths of minority groups and in remote areas.

It will also deal with issues of gender equality and domestic violence.

The five-year project will be carried out in ten difficult communes of Thua Thien-Hue province that have high rates of third births.
