The first batch of 250 40’ HC containers produced by the Vinashin-TGC Container Joint Stock Company (VTC) will be shipped to the United Arab Emirates .
To this effect, an memorandum of understanding was signed between representatives of VTC and the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) on Nov. 20.
The export of the first made-in-Vietnam containers is considered a great landmark in the history of the national mechanical engineering industry.
It opens a new opportunity for the Vietnamese container production industry to enter the international market.-
